Robert Reich on Inequality in Public Education

This blog will take a three-week, late summer break after today.  Look for a new post on Monday, September 8.  Enjoy the rest of your summer!

Once more, I’m going to cheat briefly on my self-imposed vacation.  Robert Reich, who has been working hard to expose the damage of our society’s growing inequality, has published a piece on the impact of inequality on public education.

It has been widely circulated, but if you haven’t read it, I urge you to do so.  Here it is: Back to School, and to Widening Inequality.

  1. Jan, Thank you for taking a vacation. The brightest lights burn out quickly when they fail to take time for R & R, give my best to Edie and Paul Sherry who is failing retirement. Blessings Always, Ron Hooker (good article)
